Make a Cardboard Box City

What kid doesn't like having fun in a big cardboard box? Next time you buy a big ticket item make sure you keep the cardboard box and help your kids create a cardboard city.

What you will need:

1 large cardboard box
Textas/markers



Tear open the front of the box to create a large open space. Make sure you remove any staples that may hurt your kids.



Either allow the kids to create the city or if they are a bit too small you can draw the city onto the inside of the box. Ideas for you to draw are roads, train tracks, and buildings such as hotels, churches and shops.



Kids can colour in all of the buildings to keep them occupied for longer.



Once the city is complete let the kids loose in their new city with their trains and cars. They can even use their own building blocks to create buildings within the city.

Once the kids have finished playing you can close up the box and use it for storage of the cars etc so that it is already to use next time your kids want to play in their very own city.
