Hide the Elf or Santa
Christmas is almost here! Hide the elf (or santa) is a fun game for the whole family that becomes steadily more difficult as Christmas draws nearer.
Materials
1 small santa or elf statue
The aim of the game
Find the festive statue every day.
How to play
Define the area in which the festive statue can be hidden.
Have one of your players hide the festive statue anywhere within the defined hiding area.

Players (the ones who do not know the statue's location) then have 24 hours to find the statue.

The next day, choose a different player hide the statue, and play again.
As Christmas draws nearer with each day, the hiding spots can become gradually more difficult.
Begin with easy hiding places, and make the festive statue more and more hidden with each person's turn at hiding the statue.
Hide the elf/santa can go for as long, or as little, as you like. Play the game for only an hour or 2, changing turns as you go. Or play one round each day for each day leading up to Christmas.
