Don't get caught with the 'Old Maid' card - or you lose! A simple matching game - with the added element of chance
Basic Rules
You Need
One standard deck of playing cards - the 'Queen' card will act as the 'Old Maid'
Have an odd number of 'Queen' cards so they cannot be entirely paired off - so take out one 'Queen' card or three 'Queen' cards
Choose your dealer
Game Play
Cards are dealt as evenly as possible between players

Players look at their cards and find pairs, which they discard. Throw them out, value side up, so other players can check that you really have discarded pairs if they want to
The dealer holds up his cards to the person on their left. That person selects a card from the dealers hand and checks to see if they can make a pair.
If they can make a pair, they discard it

That person holds up their cards to the person on their left to select a card - and so on
Keep going until one person is left with the 'Old Maid' card. That person loses the game.
